Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to the Coronavirus
As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Rio Vista Behavioral Health Hospital to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Rio Vista Behavioral Health Hospital.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • We are offering visitation through telehealth services so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

Drug Addiction Treatment Overview

Rio Vista Behavioral Health is pleased to provide acute inpatient treatment programming for individuals who are struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Our personalized treatment planning process is designed to ensure that you receive the services you need to achieve sobriety, and to set the course for a successful recovery journey.

Rio Vista offers a stand-alone detoxification program, as well as services for co-occurring substance abuse. However, all patients must have a primary diagnosis of a mental health disorder.

Detox Program

If needed, patients can participate in our detox program prior to accessing other levels of care. This allows them to rid their minds and bodies of harmful substances under medical supervision in a safe, supportive setting.

Addictions We Treat

Our treatment program can address addictions to many different kinds of substances, including the following:

  • Heroin
  • Cocaine
  • Alcohol
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Meth
  • Prescription painkillers

Co-Occurring Disorders

Often, chemical dependency and mental health concerns can manifest simultaneously. For this reason, we provide treatment services for mental illness and addiction in tandem. By addressing all of your presenting symptoms at the same time, you can experience healing on a deeper level and build a foundation for lasting success.
